My Story
Casey’s journey began in New Zealand, where she spent her formative years navigating between three distinct countries. This global upbringing, coupled with a family deeply rooted in the realms of architecture and construction, instilled in Casey a profound appreciation for design from a tender age.
“From rearranging my childhood room to dreaming of becoming an architect, design has always been my passion,” Casey reminisces about her early aspirations. Although initially drawn towards architecture, Casey’s affinity for the intricate nuances of interior spaces led her to pivot towards Interior Design during her college years. “For me, the fusion of exterior and interior elements is paramount; they should harmonize seamlessly,” she emphasizes, underscoring her holistic approach to design.
In 2007, Casey proudly earned her Bachelor of Arts in Interior Design from Sacramento State University, marking the inception of her professional journey. Commencing her career at a residential and commercial design firm in Oakdale, California, Casey honed her craft, blending creativity with functionality to bring visions to life.
Subsequently, Casey transitioned to a local architecture firm, where she immersed herself in drafting for commercial projects, while curating color and finish schemes. However, the call of family beckoned, prompting Casey to gracefully step back from full-time endeavors to nurture her growing family.
Yet, Casey’s passion for design remained undiminished, as she embarked on a fulfilling journey of part-time consultancy with a local kitchen and bath remodeling company, Kitchen and Bath Crate. Through her consultancy role, Casey not only cultivated her expertise but also fostered her own clientele base, spanning the expanse of Northern California.
Today, Casey continues to design both residential and commercial spaces in the Central Valley of California, blending her diverse experiences and passion to craft spaces that resonate with her clients’ unique spaces. With each project, she continues to grow and broaden her expertise in design, leaving an inimitable mark on every space she touches.
